Paris by mouth

if there is one place that made me want to be a trolley dolly, Paris would be it. hands down.

c'mon, it's Paris.

you'd be crazy not to swoon.

with a choir of angels and rose petals falling from the skies, i swoon.

some of the world's best cuisines are here. the eiffel tower as it's backdrop, makes everything delicieux.

the crepes. the cheeses. the wines. the breads. the escargots. the foie gras. the macarons. *sigh*

sit down and drink in the Parisian vibe at a cafe'. watch time pass you by (and people), as you sip your cafe' au lait with your croissant or croque madame for breakfast.

in my case, the crepe speciale' overlooking the Montmartre. *another sigh*

to go totally untraditional, and to live by my promise to eat where Bourdain eats, there's Le Camion Que Fume. http://www.lecamionquifume.com/

the first gourmet food truck in France. you can check their website where they'll be cooking (parking) next. this is me giving in to the food truck phenomenon.

the french people waiting in line for hours in a negative 2 degree weather for burger? must be one hell of a burger.

long lines only excite me more. i know something really awesome is waiting for me at the end of the rainbow (in this case, at the end of the line). sure it's torture to stand in line when you can barely feel your face and your fingers, but it's all for the love of good food. justified.

finally. im at the end of my food rainbow.

my burger classique with frites (classic burger and fries), was staring back at me.

a bite was all it took. there's my pot of gold.

the perfectly cooked patty. the crusty yet soft buns. the sauce.

this is no longer your jollibee yum burger. totally out of it's league. this is too good to be compared to a yum burger.

french gourmet burger, better than yum burger. that can be it's catchphrase.

ill give myself a kick in the head for that.
